Adele opened up about her exercise regimen in an interview with British Vogue that some medical experts have called “too much”.

Speaking to the post, the 33-year-old singer explained that she has improved her workout routine in recent years in order to monitor her overall well-being.

“It was because of my anxiety,” she said. “By training, I would feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about getting strong and giving myself so much time each day without my phone.

“I got quite addicted to it. I train two or three times a day.

Asked about the composition of her routine, the singer replied: “So I do my weights in the morning, then I walk normally or I box in the afternoon, then I will do my cardio in the evening. I was basically unemployed when I did. And I do it with coaches.

However, the reviews have led medical experts to claim that exercising two or three times a day can be harmful and pose long-term health risks.

“Maintaining a moderate exercise routine is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle,” said WebMD Chief Medical Officer John Whyte. The New York Post.

“But training two to three times a day is way too much.”

Whyte added that excessive exercise can lead to “a plethora of overuse injuries.”

“When we train, we put stress on our muscles, bones and organs,” he said.

“And if we don’t give these parts of our body a chance to heal after use, their function can start to deteriorate.

“When you overdo it in the gym, it puts stress on your body and muscles.

“Your body then produces cortisol in response to this chronic stress,” he added. “And high levels of cortisol can suppress the immune system’s ability to fend off disease. “
