Celtic’s Yosuke Ideguchi facing ‘a bit of process’ after training ground injury

The Japanese playmaker suffered a knee injury on his debut which sidelined him for almost a month following his winter move from Gamba Osaka. Now the 25-year-old faces “a bit of a process” to get back to full fitness after suffering a nasty gash at the training ground a week ago, according to Ange Posteoclgou.

“Ideguchi is still a bit withdrawn and in rehab,” the Celtic manager said. “He had a few stitches in his leg that need to be removed. It’s going to be a bit difficult with him, but he’s back at the club to do his individual job. I don’t really put time limits on these things because it’s not really fair to the players. Everyone heals differently. The important thing is that he progresses. »
