JR Training Services welcomes trainees from across Scotland for inaugural course
JR Training Services marked the launch of a new training program offered by the firm.
The company welcomed 16 delegates to attend the inaugural course, in partnership with G&A Wilson, who delivered the NEBOSH certified course on working with wellbeing.
The NEBOSH level qualification examines well-being at work at both individual and organizational level. It has been designed for anyone looking to better understand workplace well-being and the factors that affect it, including human resources, health and safety, occupational health or anyone with people management responsibilities. .
Ronnie Charters led the training. He has 35 years of experience in the construction industry, including roles as a health and safety advisor, trainer and assessor at the National Construction College CITB. He is currently NASC Regional Chairman for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Ronnie said: “Our first training course had been in the works for a long time and it was a real watershed moment to see it come to fruition. Workplace wellbeing is an incredibly hot topic across all industries at the moment and delegates really enjoyed getting a better understanding of what it really means and what measures can be put in place to improve workplace wellbeing and spot signs that some of your colleagues might be in trouble.
“The session had an incredible impact and we were delighted with the initial feedback we received. We now look forward to rolling out our broader program of services and training modules and look forward to growing this business and having a significant impact on the skills and confidence of our employees within the industry.
