Ndicka targeted
Manchester United are said to be ‘tracking’ Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka to give Erik ten Hag the defensive reinforcement he wants.
United’s back line has struggled this season and Ten Hag would like to bring in new options at centre-back, while also monitoring new full-backs on both sides. And having apparently given up on finding former Ajax defender Matthis de Ligt, United could try to sign Evan Ndicka.
The Frenchman was an integral part of this season’s Europa League winners’ squad and would now be courted by clubs across Europe. He will enter the final year of his contract this summer and United could be rushing to add him to Ten Hag’s squad ahead of next season.

Bailly’s options emerge
Representatives of Manchester United defender Eric Bailly are said to be in contact with several clubs, including Marseille and Ligue 1 Lyon.
The defender has reportedly informed Red Devils officials of his intention to leave the club this summer, with his side currently working on an exit strategy from Old Trafford. The defender is also believed to be interested from other French teams as well, while there are also reportedly clubs in Spain considering a move.
And the defender could now seal his United departure in the coming weeks after failing to become a first-team regular following his £30m move from Villarreal in 2016.

Ten Hag’s target revealed
Eric ten Hag has revealed his goal for his first season at the helm of Manchester United.
Ten Hag is set to take over after United’s worst season in the Premier League, but despite the club’s struggles, the Dutchman says it is a “must” for his new team to qualify for the Champions League. However, it will take a lot of hard work with United having little to look forward to this season.
One of the few highlights has been Cristiano Ronaldo’s form, with Ten Hag adding that he “can’t wait to work with him”.
