National University’s Workforce Education Solutions, with a grant from the California Commission on Standards and Training for Peace Officers (POST), worked with partners in the ‘national education in 2020 to create the Building Our Team Through Community Policing program providing practical skills for problem solving and community building police policies. National University faculty experts, in collaboration with law enforcement and the Institute for Violence, Abuse, and Trauma, developed the program following a nationwide listening tour. state which included civic, religious, public health and civil rights groups.
